Best places to elope in Iceland

As an adventorous soul I lived many years around the Nordic countries. But my all time favourite was Iceland, where I spent two years of my life and traveled around as many times as possible. And I mean it. I was literally on the road every weekend and hiked and discovered and photographed all the best places around the country. Most of the time I make fun of myself about saying "I know this island better then my homeland." But that's the truth. So what else can I say? This is the time to show you all my favourite iconic spots and hidden gems of that amazing island can offer. Are you ready?

I am very enthusiastic about Iceland and natural phenomena in general. And if you are so, this is the best place to get all of it. I am a huge fan of the glaciers, lagoons, black send beaches, mossy lava fields, volcanoes, waterfalls, hot springs, epic mountains and canyons. And be honest, this is the best and probably only country in the world where you can find them all. The dramatic sceneries you see in every other corner is just incrediable, you can really feel like you are in on other kind of planet. You can seriously full your heart with wonderful life time experiances, and believe me, your visual treshold is gonna be so high up after this trip, you won't be able to get over it for a looooong time...

So let me show you my favourite places. But one more funny thing you need to know of my opinion. There is seriously a lot to see in Iceland, and you can not just pick one favourite place, right? So I outsmarted the system, and made several categories, to have favourites of everything in every regions. I have a favourite glacier, waterfall, mountain, lava field, beach, etc, in the south-east-north-west of Iceland.
