Best places to elope in Iceland

As an adventurous soul, I lived many years around the Nordic countries. But my all-time favourite was Iceland, where I spent two years of my life and traveled around as much as possible. And I mean it. I was literally on the road every weekend and hiking and discovering and photographing all the best places around the country. Most of the time I make fun of myself saying "I know this island better then my homeland." But that's the truth. So what else can I say? You can read my personal story about this journey - here.

I am very enthusiastic about Iceland and natural phenomena in general. And if you are too, this is the best place to enjoy all of it. I am a huge fan of the glaciers, lagoons, black sand beaches, mossy lava fields, volcanoes, waterfalls, hot springs, epic mountains and canyons. Honestly, this is the best and probably the only country in the world where you can find them all. The dramatic sceneries you see in every other corner is just incredible, you can really feel like you are on another planet. You can seriously full your heart with wonderful lifetime experiences, and believe me, your visual threshold is gonna be so high up after this trip, you won't be able to get over it for a looooong time...

So let me show you my favourite places. But one more funny thing you need to know about my opinion. There are seriously a lot to see in Iceland, and you can not just pick one favourite place, right? So I outsmarted the system, and made several categories, to have favourites of everything in every region. I have a favourite glacier, waterfall, mountain, lava field, beach, and so on in each region of Iceland.
